Fort Collins

Fort Collins is about an hour north of the dealership and has plenty of things to discover.

Have you been to the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery? This is definitely worth a stop. With exhibits such as Music and Sound Lab, Wildlands and WildLife, the  Schatz Family Exploration Zone, and the Tot Spot, everyone is sure to find something to peek their interest.  The Museum is located at 408 Mason Ct, Fort Collins, CO 80524. Maybe your kids have some pent up energy they need to go burn off. Another great place to go play is Spring Canyon Community Park. Located at 2626 W Horsetooth Road, this park has something for every one. Play places for kiddos of all ages and abilities, bike course, sports fields, bathrooms. Best part? You can bring your four legged furry friend to run around in the 2+ acre dog park!

Estes Park

The gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Sure you may have made several trips up in the summer. But have you ever explored during the early spring time?

As long as there is snow, you can tube in Rocky Mountain National Park in the old Hidden Valley Ski area, or perhaps try your hand at some cross country skis. Depending on when you go to the park this time of year, you can see birds migrating back and the color returning. Before you go, double check conditions. It’s still Colorado and spring time can be a little unpredictable!

Stop at the Estes Park Visitor Center to get the latest conditions in the park and which roads are passable. They always have great recommendations on things to do and where to eat.

Colorado Springs

Right at 2 hours from the dealership Colorado Springs is a gorgeous place to explore.

Garden of the Gods is another place most people have probably visited during the summer. The park is open year around, so why not check it out in a different season? We hear that they have a dinosaur exhibit in additional to all the other cool things to check out.

Want to see even more animals? The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a favorite place to visit when in Colorado Springs. Where else can you go to feed giraffes? Visit right now until April and pay off season admission prices.

It goes with out saying that one of the big things in Colorado Springs is Pikes Peak. Sure you might not be able to drive to the top in early spring, but even a shorter drive up the mountain is worth the views. Maybe driving up the mountain isn’t your things, or you want to see the views and not worry about the driving,  you can always book a ride on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway.

Winter Park

What would a spring break in Colorado be with out at least mention that yes you can go ski or snowboard. But that is pretty much a given. Never fear, we found a few other interesting alternatives to traditional ski and snowboarding.

How about Fat Biking? You can pedal around on the groomed Nordic trails with over sized tires with some heavy duty tread. We think its worth at least trying. Maybe you prefer something with a motor? Snowmobiling is always an option too.

So there you have it. 4 different cities with great things to offer, all with in a 2 hours drive of Stapp Interstate Toyota. We hope that we gave you a few good ideas on where to head off on your next adventure to. Let’s Go Places!
